Where can I donate? 

Tassie Mums, has donation drop off points in Lauderdale, Midway Point, Derwent Park, Huonville and South Hobart. Please email us for more details as these drop points constantly change. 


What can I donate?

Tassie Mums loves children’s clothing from birth (00000) up to 12 years of age. We love shos, singlets, undies, socks and more, please see our WHAT CAN BE REHOMED poster for a full list of items we can accept.

We also love to reuse your unwanted clear doona/linen packaging to bundle up donations ready for giving.


What happens to my donations?

Incoming donation are carefully sorted (volunteers wash and mend the odd item if need be) and bundled into packages according to age and gender.

Tassie Mums works with Tasmanian social service and not-for-profit organisations, passing items on through them. These social service networks request items from us to suit their clients. Tassie Mums does not pass on items directly to those in need, but prefers to use the network of social service agencies to ensure items get to those most in need.

Tassie Mums delivers bundles to social service organisations, not to individuals. Please contact your local support network and pass on our email tassiemums@gmail.com if you are in need of a little bit of help.


How many items go into a clothing bundle?

On average a new born clothing bundle can contain anywhere from 70-100 items, this includes summer and winter clothing, a few books and toys.
