Tassie Mums is a not-for-profit volunteer led group that is passionate about providing essential items to babies and children in need.
We collect donations of new and preloved baby and children’s clothing and other small items through donation drop points which are supported by local individuals, schools and businesses.
Donations are carefully sorted and bundled by volunteers and then “rehomed” via social service organisations to vulnerable and at-risk children statewide.
The recipients of bundles are determined by the welfare agencies which request goods from Tassie Mums.
Tassie Mums has no direct contact with recipients.
Clothing bundles are made for babies and children from premature birth up to approximately 14 years of age.
A newborn bundle can contain up to 70 items of clothing including 2 books and a soft toy.
Other items we rehome include nappies, play mats, cot linen and toiletry packs.
