Begin by purchasing or gathering brand-new items suitable for a boy or girl aged 3 to 14 years.

Include the following essential items in your backpack:

•  Clothing: Pop in a packet of new socks and underwear appropriate for the child's age and gender and/or a t-shirt and shorts.
•  Accessories: Include a cap or a hat to protect the child from the sun.
•  Sun Safe: Add a tube of sunscreeen
•  Footwear: Include a pair of brand-new sneakers that might fit the child's size for the backpack you are putting together. This will also help make them ready for back to school.
• PJs: Choose age and gender appropriate pyjamas. 

PLEASE AVOID ANY CHRISTMAS THEMED ITEMS - THANK YOU

This will make sure the gift is useable all year round.

 Attach a tag to the outside of the backpack with the gender and age of the child the backpack is intended for clearly written.

• Create a simple tag using paper or cardstock and write the information clearly.
• Ensure the tag is securely attached to the backpack, so it doesn't get lost on its way to Tassie Mums.

  Drop-off at Tassie Mums Collection Point

• Drop to your nearest Tassie Mums collection point. Please email us at donate@tassiemums.org or message us via our socials and we will provide address details and open hours.

• Deliver your completed backpack to the collection point by Sunday, December 1st, 2023. ***Please note Tassie Mums does not have the resources to collect these items, they must be delivered to your closest drop off point. ***
